Lucho Soler is a Peruvian-born master potter based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Cusco, Peru. He creates exquisitely polished, intricately carved fine-art vessels that blend ancestral craftsmanship with contemporary elegance.

Deeply inspired by the vibrant polychromy and sculptural richness of pre-Columbian art, Soler honors ancient traditions through every stage of his process. Each piece is entirely handmade using time-honored techniques, from forming to finishing.

His vessels are brought to life with richly pigmented slips and the transformative effects of organic materials introduced during firing. Surfaces are meticulously hand-polished with stones, while select works are embellished with semi-precious stones or detailed with lustrous touches of liquid gold and platinum.
